  • Packed lunch included
  • Landscape Photography training during the day

Landscapes & Wildlife Sunday 20th to Friday 25th September 2020. 4 guests max.
5 days, 5 nights (Arr Sun/ Dep Friday) £1195

Due to the issues with Covid, this workshop is now a hybrid of landscape and wildlife, with the mix to be decided based on weather and participants.

NB: When comparing prices, please check how many nights are included - our trips finish at 6pm, so we include the 5th night (3rd on 2 day trips), so you don't have the unexpected cost of an additional night's Dinner, bed and breakfast to find.

We visit locations across the Highlands of Scotland to create striking and memorable landscape photographs.

Our aim to give you the toolkit to create the type of landscape image picture you want to capture, whether that is a pretty and colourful landscape like the banner images, or a study in contrast or abstracted moving water; there will be constant help with technique for those that want it.

Nick is an Adobe UK demonstrator and a key, but optional part of this trip is showing and teaching you how to use Lightroom seamlessly to process your photographs, just like in the days of film, to achieve the results you want.

Moving water can make magical pictures and filters are an important part of our trips. Photo by guest Doreen Miller using Lee Filters 'Super stopper’.

Suitable for Photographers who are experiences experienced or wanting to improve their technique, we have a very small group and relaxed pace to ensure that guests enjoy the experience and scenery along the way, as well as getting beautiful pictures.

We always have spare pairs of binoculars for anyone who wants to take a closer look at the views or wildlife.

The trip will involve the use of filters (we use Lee filters) for effect and improved exposure. This will include gradients, 'stoppers' to slow down motion of water and sky, polarisers and digital filters in Lightroom to supplement the as necessary.

For those not familiar with filters we can help with both use and technique and if you don't have your own set, we have a selection for you to try. Please drop us a note beforehand so we ensure we have the correct lens adapters.

Landscape and Process workshops

Contact us if you have specific dates in mind. We can offer improved pricing for groups, and cover topics to suit ranging from wildlife to HDR, filters to night sky and combinations of all of these.
