Learn how to get the best pictures from your new OM-1 camera.
Dedicated bird, wildlife and landscape photography training on this camera and all its key settings, either 1:1 or on small group basis
The reborn OM-1 camera by OM-Systems is a quantum leap forwards for Micro43, competing with full frame camera for the first time. It is a very capable, but complex camera, so I am offering dedicated training days for the camera this in the natural haven that is Somerset.

Starting with setup of the autofocus system and other key menu items, we will then head out to put these changes into practice, showing you how to use the camera to get the best possible pictures.
We take you to some of the hidden corners of Somerset, looking for specific wildlife and landscape opportunities to suit your interest. At the end of the day, we will sit around and check pictures, looking at ways to improve tecnique and see how processing can bring out the the best in the pictures we have taken.

The Olympus OM-1 days run from 08:30 - 5pm each day, but may be extended if the light is good. We generally get an evening meal or a drink and chat. Everything is informal and relaxed.
All transport is by comfortable 4x4, from an agreed pick up location or your accomodation.
We always provide tea / coffee / water and light snacks (chocolate!) during the day and usually get lunch at a cafe or tea room.

all transport and guiding throughout (including rail / airport pickup / drop-off, if required).
photography of birds, wildlife, landscapes or all three
detailed help / setup / training with the camera and settings as required during the day
introduction to / advanced post-production on Lightroom / Photoshop from one of Adobe UK's trainers (optional).
Suitability
Our OM-1 training is suitable for Photographers who are experienced or beginners; there is something on the trips for everyone.
Our tours are vehicle based, with 2-3 miles (3-5 Km) walking during the day and no difficult terrain.
