Picture for attention only: Kestrel portrait by Nick Wilcox-Brown
Keeping away from the more familiar areas of North Eastern Poland, we head for the wild and remote South East, an area of forests and low mountains bordered by Slovakia and Ukraine.
Working with an excellent guide, we will find a wide range of unfamiliar Passerines, Waders and Raptors, we may even see Bears, Wolves or Lynx that habituate this wild and beautiful landscape.
During the day, we mix relaxed Birding, with Photography, perhaps Digiscoping for those who are interested and optional informal photography tuition as required.
In the evening, we srelax, eat, import our images, backup and edit them, or simply wander out and enjoy the ambience of this wonderful location. You will come away with some great birding experiences, beautiful images and many new skills. For those who want it, I provide and insight into post-production using Adobe Lightroom or Camera RAW to help you make your pictures look their best.
Potential bird species: include Lesser Spotted, White-tailed and Golden Eagle, Corn Crake, Hazel Grouse, Ural and Boreal Owl, Honey Buzzard, Black Stork, Crane, Collared and Red-breasted Flycatcher, multiple Warblers, Woodpeckers and many others.
