Scottish Landscape and Wildlife 20th - 25th September 2020. 4 guests max. 4 days, 5 nights £1195

Due to the issues with Covid, this workshop is now a hybrid of landscape and wildlife, with the mix to be decided based on weather and participants.

We visit locations across the Highlands of Scotland to see iconic species. Suitable for Photographers who love wildlife, Birders and their partners, we have a very small group and relaxed pace to ensure that guests enjoy the experience and views along the way, as well as getting great pictures.

We always have viewing scopes and spare pairs of binoculars for those who do not wish to take pictures.

Each day, depending on the season, we will be looking for and photographing many of the species found in the Highlands, including Golden and White-Tailed Eagles, Osprey, Slavonian Grebes, Dotterel, Mountain Hare, Red Grouse, Crested Tits, Red Squirrel, Ring Ouzel, Goosander, Dipper, Red-throated and possibly Great Northern Divers, all set within the stunning landscapes.

Feedback from Clients

Wildlife, Birds and Process, July 2019:

See the blog for the full feedback form from one guest - we are so pleased we have shown it in full.

Wildlife, Landscape and Process, July 2018:

”Thanks Nick, we had a great time..” "It was a nice small group, run at a relaxed pace with time to reflect and learn.”

” As a result of this course, we are now confidently using Lightroom for simple editing and feel more comfortable exploring its capability.”

Scottish Birds and Wildlife, December 2018

”I love taking photos of wildlife. Have done for many years but felt I needed to learn a bit more about getting a better photo. This course really lived up to the expectations”

”We had a guide every day, I think using that specialised knowledge of the area was very beneficial in that you got to places where he knows you will get a photo.“

It was a fantastic course. Brilliant time with animals

”What I really enjoyed about the course was the small group. You got a lot more attention and help than what you would have had in a big group I love taking photos of wildlife. Have done for many years but felt I needed to learn a bit more about getting a better photo. This course really lived up to the expectations”

NB: When comparing prices, please check how many nights are included - our trips finish at 6pm, so we include the 5th night (3rd on 2 day trips), so you don't have the unexpected cost of an additional night's Dinner, bed and breakfast to find.

Contact us if you have specific dates in mind. We can offer improved pricing for groups, and cover topics to suit ranging from wildlife to HDR, filters to night sky and combinations of all of these.

Payment of £350 is required to secure your booking. Final payment 4 weeks before the course. We can also offer individual guiding and tuition on a 1-1 basis or bespoke options for small groups or individuals, with or without accommodation
